Capabilities
Files, materials and sizes

Some files may need conversion, repair or preparation before printing. Need a material we don't list, such as ABS or ASA? Ask and we'll assess it case by case.
Maximum single-piece print size
| Process | Width × Depth × Height |
|---|---|
| FDM | approx. 350 × 320 × 325 mm |
| Resin | approx. 330 × 185 × 400 mm |
* Larger models may be printed in sections and assembled where practical.
What affects the price
Size and complexity
Larger or more detailed jobs take more machine and finishing time.
Quantity and materials
How many you need, and the materials or components required, including anything we need to source.
Design and file preparation
Whether your files are ready to use or need preparation, conversion or design work.
Pricing
Design and setup fees
Design and setup fees may apply where artwork preparation, file preparation, modelling or production setup is required.
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Basic design / setup — up to approx. 45 minutes of straightforward work (resizing, file conversion, simple artwork clean-up, basic vectorisation, text or layout changes) | A$37.50 |
| Additional design / modelling — estimated before work proceeds | A$50 per hour (A$12.50 per 15 minutes) |
* Where the work required is unclear, we review your files before confirming any charge. Additional charges are never incurred without telling you first.
How custom quotes work
Quotes depend on the file, material, size, print time and finish needed. The more detail you send, the easier it is to quote accurately.
-
Have a file?
STL, 3MF, OBJ and STEP files are ideal. Only have a sketch or idea? Send that through too.
-
Need it functional?
Tell us how the part will be used so we can consider fit and suitability.
-
Material choice
PLA and PETG in a wide range of colours and finishes; other materials assessed case by case.
-
Tell us what you need
Send your requirements through the form, with as much detail as you can, plus any reference images or files.
-
We review and quote
We'll contact you if we need more information. Most custom quotes are provided within approximately 3–5 business days.
-
Approve and pay
Designs or proofs are approved before production where applicable. Jobs under A$100 are paid in full; A$100 or more need a 50% deposit.
-
We make it
Production starts once everything is confirmed. Many custom orders take approximately 1–3 weeks after approval. We'll let you know when it's ready.
Have a deadline or event date? Include it with your enquiry. We'll always aim to meet it where practical and tell you before the order proceeds if we can't.
Request a quote
Tell us about your project and we'll review it and come back to you.
Jobs we can't accept
We won't accept jobs or materials that are unsafe, unsuitable for our equipment or outside our practical production capabilities, including:
- unknown or unidentified materials, or materials that may release hazardous fumes, gases or residues when processed
- files, designs or items we don't have the legal right or permission to reproduce
- prohibited or illegal items, or jobs that are technically unsuitable or unsafe
3D printing questions
Can you make something that isn't listed in your catalogue?
Quite possibly. A large part of what we do comes from the same recurring thought: "We could make that." Tell us what you have in mind through the relevant custom enquiry.
Can I request a specific colour or material?
Yes. Where the material or colour you want isn't listed, you can request it as part of a custom enquiry, including specialty filaments we don't routinely stock. Availability, suitability, additional cost and any impact on production time will be confirmed before the order proceeds.
Can I supply my own artwork or 3D model?
Yes. Depending on the service, suitable files may include artwork, logos, reference images, vector files or 3D models. For 3D printing, preferred formats include STL, 3MF, OBJ and STEP/STP. If additional design or setup work is required, we'll discuss it with you before proceeding.
What happens if my uploaded file is unsuitable?
We'll contact you before production begins. Depending on the problem, we may ask for a replacement or revised file, make minor adjustments where practical, or recommend additional design or file-preparation work. Any additional cost will be discussed with you first.
